I just won that! So awesome, now my girlfriend can come on rides with me. He's gonna ship it to Florida too, I just had to ask.

Oh man, tell me about it. If that thing fit me I'd be all over it, I fscking love the purple/pink. And the Columbus EL-OS. And the Wound Up fork. And the asdfjklshefa; aaanyways we're both so excited!

Also I'm taking the bike if my lady friend and I ever part ways. Not likely, but a necessary agreement. smiley smiley smiley

Dr. Deltron over on BF had a method for popping that kind of dent out of a tube using two blocks of wood. It might be worth a search.

Thanks, gonna look into that. I was just going to leave the dent, but if there's a way of taking it out.. that'd be amazing.

So I'm going to stop spamming this thread and actually post something on-topic!

This is not my size.

This, on the other hand, is. Sigh.

this should be in the jackass thread i guess.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Colnago-61-cm-road- ... 0240230239

yeah, lets take an awesome colnago and file off the braze-ons so this thing is forever relegated to being a "fixie".
i guess someone could take this thing and fire up the torch or get the little campy clips for the cable and shifters but man. that sucks.

i'm seriously thinking of selling my pista concept on ebay.
i really want a panasonic from deathare. should i do it?

i kinda feel bad about jacking people but, they're willing to pay ridiculous amounts of cash for concepts now-a-days.
also, i'm not sure if i should leave it as a complete bike (with sugino 75's & phil wood hubs laced to dp18's & a duraace front brake).
thoughts?

cookietruck

you're not gonna keep it forever.
might as well sell it when you can get alot.
parting it out will probably get you more skrilla.

yeah... i might keep the cranks... and maybe the hubs.
but i wanna do the panasonic classy.

Well, you're going to need the cranks and hubs for the Panasonic, right? So keep them.

agreed.
sugino75 and phil are nice.
if anything, just rebuild the wheels i guess if you want a different rim.

i definitely just want a classic wheelset... nothing painted or powder coated in any fancy colors.

there is also a nice Medici, size 58.
http://cgi.ebay.com/1983-Medici-Pro-Str ... .m14.l1318

also, a Fuso, looks like a pretty short rake fork. probably a real nice ride.
Fuso was the frame shop of Dave Moulton, if you read his blog you'll see that he built his frames with high trail. very stable.
it might go for a very reasonable price. i'm temped to bid on this but i'm not going to...although i bet i would like it better than my gazelle.

2 cdale tracks:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Cannondale- ... .m14.l1318
^ my size. watching. SUCKS that they painted it yellow with freakin fake carbon decals. blue is my least favorite color, but i do love the stock cannondale blue. if i got this id probably just get it powdercoated red since its already ruined.

http://cgi.ebay.com/90s-vintage-Cannond ... .m14.l1318
^ nice stock blue 58cm. im riding a 58 road frame right now with like 4.5" of post showing so maybe that would fit. ..

also wtf is this
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-57CM-FIXED-GEAR ... .m14.l1318

who is making all that stuff? i keep wanting to buy a frame like that because its so cheap but i know id regret it.

Look at the weight on that frame. Almost 6 lbs. It weighs closer to my full suspension mountain bike with the rear shock attached then it does to my road frame.

i love those frames.

i would be scared to death, however, to ride that one with the dented top tube.
