super clean dura ace cranks, so fresh.

and
http://cgi.ebay.com/Sansin-NJS-Keirin-T ... dZViewItem
some nice sansins. wish I was looking to build a fresh and clean wheelset, some of my personal favorite NJS hubs. all the quality and benefits of DA7600's but your wheels wont be the same as everyone else's

finally:
some (maybe) cheap DA cranks
http://cgi.ebay.com/crank-Njs-track-kei ... dZViewItem
they look pretty fly but the description kind of has me sketched. They look like DA cranks, but they have the logo rubbed off and he doesnt photo the stamp on the cranks or anything.

Holy shit!

I was just in Lancaster, PA and there was this tiny little british import shop I would have never gone into but then I looked up and saw a Hetchins on the top of a shelf... walked in and saw 2 more.

Dude had three of them, all as elaborate as that one. The first was a green track frame (for sale) the middle was one he had waited a couple years for and was a road frame, and the third looked like that one. Gold plated wishbone, with crazy crazy elaborate gold plated lugs.

My pa and me ended up talking to him for quite some time. Cool dude.

Nice.

I'm pretty happy with my poor man's Hetchins but I'd still love to have the real deal someday.

That Hetchins is impressive, but I've almost always found British bikes to be much too gaudy for my tastes.
(there's a difference between a bike having flash and having too-much-stuff-going-on-and-everything-looking-mushed-together)

I agree. It's looks like too much of a show piece. Which is great. But I like bikes that look like they want the snot beat out of them.

I got the white one. I actually have been looking for a reasonably priced one for a while.

How are they?

My nice but huge Giro never gets worn and I'd be up for something more comfortable/less intrusive, although I know what I should really do is stop complaining and wear my Giro.

Someone needs to make a hairnet with that freaky hardens-on-impact gel shit.

Yea, we're definately due for some improvements in head-protection technology. Head-destruction technology (cars, weapons, etc.) is waaaay ahead.

I just ordered it. I will probably make a whole thread about how cool it is, if I like it.

Saw that a while ago. Really nice components and really tempting, but really more non-custom bike than I need.

They better have a circular clamp area cuz otherwise finding a stem to fit would be a bitch.
