Andrew Squirrel is selling stuff because his apartment is small

Over the next couple weeks I am going to start selling a bunch of bike parts.
Here is a start, i'd prefer a buyer in the Seattle area since shipping wheels is a PITA:

Shimano Dynamo & 9sp Ultegra Wheelset 700c with Mavic Touring Rims - $200 (Greenwood)

Winter is coming and now is the time to finally invest in that dynamo wheelset you have been dreaming of. This is the perfect seattle commuter or touring wheelset that will swiftly and safely transport you over those dark, pothole ridden roads.
I did a thorough cleaning of the wheelset including cleaning contact points on dynamo leads with alcohol & completely repacking the rear hub bearings and flushing freehub body
Front wheel:
Dynamo generator hub Shimano DH-3D72 6Volt 3Watt (includes connector!) can be used with rim brakes or centerlock disc brakes.
Straight gauge spokes
Mavic A719 touring rims in 32 hole 700c (sticker removed)
Resist Nomad Tire & tube included (minor wear)
Built by yours truly!
No skewer included
Rear wheel:
Shimano Ultegra FH-6500 9sp freehub body
Straight Gauge Spokes
Mavic A719 touring rims in 32 hole 700c
Resist Nomad Tire & tube included (slightly more wear)
Built by Recycled Cycles
No skewer included
No cassette included

If I still lived in Seattle, I'd already have bought them :/

Just ride your fucking bike and don't be a dick about it.

LOL, person emails me about only buying rear wheel for their commuter.
I inquire if they already have a front dynamo wheel.
They only have regular front wheel and know nothing about dynamo lights.
OH REALLY? I HAPPEN TO BE A MISSIONARY TRYING TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR DYNAMO, WOULD YOU LIKE A PAMPHLET AND LONG EMAIL REPLY?

Whoa, how's that going? My crazy Aunt Tina owns a B&B there called the Old Judge Mansion. Was a funeral home before she bought it. Troy is really something.

Riding in Troy and the surrounding towns for utility is a nightmare. After living in Seattle (previously Chicago), I got used to riding around cars who were expecting bikes; here people just get mad that I'm not on the sidewalk. Once you get out into farmland though (about 20 minutes in any direction), it's really pretty. I can ride to VT or MA within two hours on very lightly-trafficked roads, get some beautiful gravel, visit some farmstands, go to a small town, etc.

Troy itself is a strange city. It's pretty clearly experienced several decades of economic depression, but it seems like it's experiencing a sort of economic renaissance (or gentrification, CYOA). For instance, there's an all-natural wine store and boutique houseplants store peppered in alongside boarded-up shops. The bar scene seems pretty lively. Specifically there's this cool bar with a bunch of stuff on tap and a nice selection for retail purchase.

It's ok.

Just ride your fucking bike and don't be a dick about it.
