Last summer, the foyer of every PCC was basically all La Croix.

Dammit tarck, my life was fine. Now I have trouble deciding if I should get a glass of water or drive to the store and pick up a case of pampelmousse when I'm thirsty. Squirt is my favorite soda and this smells almost exactly like it but it doesn't make me fat or kill me.

Except it's always sold out so I have to settle for cran-raspberry or just berry.

Target seems to have a good selection of flavors now. Shame they only sell 8 packs

Apricot is pretty good, Mango ain't too bad either. Still need to try the passionfruit.

The 8-packs are most of the reason I prefer Polar. Other is the I like it real fizzy and polar gives me that over la croix.
Final thing is I don't have to go into Target or Walmart to get it.

It's alright.

On the other hand, Orange smells amazing and doesn't have any real flavor.

Been wanting to try this finally did tonight. Tried some fee brothers grapefruit bitters and it was gross, regular angostra bitters was pretty good. It really does feel like a cocktail. Tried it with underberg and holy shit that was fucking delicious.

Those are all good flavors (hmm, may not have had the watermelon marg), and a decent price if you can't get it locally.

My La Croix algebra equation:

Curante blackberry cucumber>coconut> cran-raspberry>kiwi watermelon>orange>The flavors that are all mediocre and blend together>Lime or Lemon (Boring. Might as well just have a dumb Perrier.)>La Cola (So gross. Turns out Cola flavor without sweetener tastes like dirt).

In my ever-continuing quest to eliminate all sources of joy from my life and diet, I banned La Croix from my grocery lists a month or so ago.

It's probably saved me at least $50-60 so far.

I picked up a corny keg and make my own seltzer again. Now I just blow through a bottle of angostura bitters like one every ten days or so.

ugh, for real.

i'm a stickler about saving money by going out for coffee no more than 1x/week, and yet a crippling LaCroix habit has brought down all financial gainz in the budgeting department.

La Kroger is $2 for 12. Limited flavors (plain, lemon lime, lime cranberry, and I think plain lemon), but scratches the itch for less money.

so i decided i would be funny and instead of bringing a rack of beer to the party i brought a couple boxes of lacroiz - coconut and grapefruit and it changed my life. ive decided to replace whatever highlife or quality can of beer in my fridge with this stuff. it goes down faster than beer but it satisfies the urge to have a can of something.

Got a SodaStream for xmas this year. Loving it so far. I have a serious Coke habit I wanted to get under control. They give 'em out free at work so I still have one with lunch everyday but I was also drinking about 1/2 liter every day at home in the evenings. I feel like that can't be healthy (even tho I have trouble keeping weight on and have never had a cavity) plus hoping to save the $0.50/day on cola. At the least I am certainly drinking more water each day so that is a health benefit. Biggest bummer was seeing how much they want for the syrups, no cost savings at all compared to grocery store-bought cola at $0.99/liter. I've been mostly drinking plain seltzer water which is great and also experimenting with different juices, both with and without added simple syrup.

Update: Love it! This has become my new go-to drink around the house. So good, thanks for the suggestion. Much healthier than the cola habit it replaced. Vinegar is good for you too. My dad has taken a tablespoon/day for years and insists that it makes him immune to poison ivy which he used to be very susceptible to. Also I've met a lot of old-timers who take some daily so must be something to it.
