Anyone who grew up in the Midwest remembers La Croix from when it was a popular drink with parents on Weight Watchers in the 1990s. Do not use it to prep spokes or to fill your brake lines.

I grew up drinking La Croix.
In the Midwest.
Before it was cool.

If only you had some sort of a computer screen with a keyboard that would provide you with answers to questions.

DQ: haven't been on this side of the forum in years tbh but my sis is looking for a bike to cruise around mostly flat small town streets. she wants to be comfortable so prob nothing really aggressive/road bike-ish. also she's abt 5'4 and would like to spend around ~350. any reccos on what I should look for ? I'm guessing some sort of mixte? Pls don't hate I haven't been in the bike-o-sphere for a minute.

Find her an old steel Rockhopper/Stump/Trek whatever and put townie bars and Powerblocks on it. Add a dynamo if you’re feeling saucy and boom, she has the ultimate track bike.

Backing this. Dynamo is like 1/2 of the budget, though. I'd just go to the shop and get some L&M lights.

I don't know where decaleur chat is but I need help from that crew. I'm making a custom rack for my friend and I want a better way to mount it to handlebars than all the bullshit I've tried in the past with cetma racks. I'm thinking a couple 31.8 clamps that have an arm that sticks out about 4cm to give clearance for cables. The arms would then attach to the rack somehow (which can be built around the clamp given the rack will be custom).

Anybody know of anything like that?

Direct mount DH stem or 31.8 interrupter levers.

Also knockoff GoPro bar mounts can be had cheap on eBay in 31.8. Then remove the GoPro bit and expose town threaded holes. Probably not strong enough for a rack mount vs decaleur tho.

Paging jimmythefly for his fount of weird adaptor knowledge...

I like the direct mount idea because you could have two separate pieces already designed for load and tapped. Though a quick search seems like many of the two-piece style are 35, not 31.8, a shim would prob be ok.

What floor pump should I get to seat tubeless tires? Or should I just buck up and go down the rabbit hole of compressors?

I made something similar to what you are describing using a Minoura accessory holder attached to my stem, with a Topeak pump holder affixed to my box. It's far from perfect, but it has worked well for over two years, now.

I’ve seen the green Specialized pump seat MTB tires in the wild. No idea how well it would work for nerd tire-rim combos though.

What lengthener do I need if I'm looking to slap on a Sunrace 10s cassette 11-40t? Currently running 5700 shakes, Deore M591 9s, CX50 46-36 and 11-36 cassette. More importantly is it worth it (as an alternative to the OX901D)
