Origin 8 Bike Block

Just picked up a pair of origin 8 bike blocks to set up a way to hold my bikes in the back of my van. These are unique on the market in that they come with all the adapters for 9mm, 15 TA, and 20 TA. The adapters easily swap out with no tools so I can just keep the adapters in my glove box if I need to haul bikes other than mine of the ladies MTB since those two are the ones most often transported back there. I had to fabricate some brackets to mount to the raised platform in the van but everything turned out pretty good. I will report back after they've gotten some use but they seem nice and solid and I don't foresee and unusual circumstances. Anyway time for the pictures.

I love stuff like this and made a similar doo-dad for the back of my Fit. Bike rides standing up with front wheel off, just like yours, and I've got plenty of room for other junk. Sunk about 12 buck into that project.

Mine cost a bit more than that since the bike blocks were thirty something a piece but still way better than just having them lean over and tying them down.

Security, weather protection, unfucked gas mileage. You're getting all of it. And that van's a real dream machine. I love the storage under the platform. Sometimes a mattress on the platform?

Yeah I got a japanese futon that fits perfectly on the platform. The brackets are attached with wing nuts for east removal when I need to put the mattress down.
