I saw this giant banner printed horizontally on a huge tractor-trailer rolling through Berlin the other day (no camera, so disappointed). Pretty sure it's carrying Monocle's bulk JOD order.

Today Velouria discovers her inner roadie asshole and yells at people on the MUP because she was going too fast. Her progress is moving more quickly than I ever could have imagined.

this thread is like looking at a car wreck. it doesn't seem right to just ruthlessly pick apart someone who is so obviously at the beginning of the learning curve and not involved with this place at all.
but there's so much fodder, it's so rich... this is the best shit talking since spacetime first came here.

Not sure what you mean, but there is dildo store called Dildo King here and they do advertise with massive banners and tractor trailers. They really seem to have cornered the market.

I think he failed to notice that it was an ad for dildos, not actual sausages.

No. I just like to ride dirt and pavement on the same bike. I raced (MTBs) a million years ago (when I lived in California), but have no desire to do any sort of competitive riding.

She's discussing her thought process out loud. Many people would consider these things when going to their first group ride on a road bike, but not everyone would discuss them out loud, let alone on a blog. I think most of us would keep fears like this to ourselves (probably out of fear of embarrassment) and do what we felt was necessary.

Whats the point? That some people who ride bikes are pretty girls? Just another pointless "pretty girls doing things" blog. It's about a half step away from the fix fix fix.

At first it looks like yet another Copenhagen tribute blog, but I like that not all of them are on fancy bikes (a surprising number of Huffys and Murrays!), that not all of them are dressed in fancy clothes, and that not all of them are young or stylish. Not necessarily my thing, but it works on its own terms and it's not a fetish site. It's also an actual resource—if you want to know what kind of bike to ride and what kind of clothes to wear to get around in Chicago in winter, you could do a lot worse than looking through these pictures.

Have:

a rusty typewriter, a few bird cages with flaking lead paint, an Amish spinning wheel, a selection of fountain pens, vintage buckets with the logo of a volunteer fire department in rural Vermont circa 1918, a Victorian baby buggy (some broken springs and rotting fabric), some sweetass duck decoys and misc. fly fishing equipment that belonged to my great grandfather.

Want:

rod brake equipped boat anchor. bonus points for rust.

I dunno, but I think I get what he's coming from. It's like "OH MAN THIS WOMAN RIDES A BIKE, JUST LIKE US GUYS! I BET ME AND HER COULD TALK ABOUT BIKES FOR HOURS ON END BECAUSE WE HAVE THAT IN COMMON" and it's comes off as putting them on a pedestal for doing a normal every day thing.
