btdubs, we just got our new kit in for the UCD team. Went with Louis Garneau this year (previous years was voler, which i never used but it sounds like it has never garnered praise)

bibs are fucking delicious though. haven't put any long rides in yet, but they feel awzm. jersey is pretty nice too.

this is what i got (in a less tron colorway) http://www.departmentofgoods.com/louis-garneau-neo-power-bib-short-mens

fabric is pretty thick so it compresses nicely. bib rests against the goods well and doesn't feel like a diaper. straps are nice and tight, they don't slide around (like some gissegi or whatever bibs i have)

ah pretty cool. i just emailed the local cycling club about their kit. hopefully they have some bibs and jersey in my size

Lots of good bibs on ebay mang, not even used, just from random team kit buys.

I've bought a bunch of NOS Biemme bibs + skinsuits that are old USA Cycling / national team kit from http://stores.ebay.com/The-Pros-Closet and never paid more than $12 each. Helps that I am tinysize but still even the normal sized shit doesn't go for that much more.

awzum.

Are these distributed in the US through the normal channels (QBP/EAI, etc...)? I haz team discount at a shop and supposedly we're eligible for some kinda group buy deal through the shop so I will ask wassup with that too.

yeah, QBP. I think challenge usa is based in the twin cities as well, if not actually an office inside of QBP.

$15rims. Word on the street is that these are indeed unbranded Velocity Fusions (they even came shipped to one guy in a Velocity box).

I have some of those. They're not Velocity (convex sides of "v" section, raised braking surface) but they're about the same quality. I remember Tony saying at some point on Brianforums that they're sourced from Kinlin, and that he used to sell Fusions under the same "IRO Cold Fusion" name until Velocity raised their prices.
