I was told to pronounce it like you were saying the letters G-P-M. Also, pronounced Roubaix incorrectly in front of a woman from France and mispronounced Ciocc for at least two years before comeone corrected me.

cervelo is indeed "servelo" because it's not italian

in italian single c's are "ch" like "chinelli" etc. and double c's are a k sound so ciocc is like choke, but with a slightly different vowel sound.

edit: video proved me wrong about ciocc.

I've generally been the only one in all of my bike shops who says "de-railer," rather than some bastardized French pronunciation.

that wheel press is actually kinda useful in a shop geared towards low cost repairs on shitty bikes. none of those kids want to pay even 40 bucks for a new wheel or wait for a new one to come in. it's a shitty fix for shitty bikes.

When I worked at the Bike Coop in Santa Cruz, we sold new cheapo replacement wheels starting at $25 and we were making a profit on them. They were one of our biggest sellers aside from tubes and $9 tires. There is seriously no need for a wheel press. If you can't fix it on a truing stand, bending it in a (somewhat) glorified vise is not going to render it safe to ride either.

The Fairfax bike coop has absurdly high prices on things. I am always astounded to see the $90 SRAM PC930 cassettes.
