so...I don't want to crush my pretty pink steel bike (s3 so it will dent if you fart on it)

...and I have enough parts to build up another bike...
...and I am gonna be in Oklahoma and don't want to be caught riding a pink bike out in scary-land. I already was nearly murdered enough in TX riding a grey bike from pickup truck wackjobs.

...so there's this locally that looks cool and I'm not sure if it's an okay deal at $600

seems a bit high for a caad9.
I like the murdered out look, but you could probably snag a caad10 frame for around that much.

Thanks folks. Think I'm going to pass on it. I have a weird fascination with that series but without any justifiable reason. I think I'm just having trouble living with the regret of not buying this from my buddy when he was selling it.

Looks weird with the woodchippers but man was it a fun bike on singletrack.

GT Tachyon for $100.

U-brake rear, canti front, "splatter" ish paint job.
Adjustable fork dropouts, flippable stem.
Already converted to 650b with XT/Velocity wheels and some sort of road-looking skinwall tires.

Seller already took the ad down pending me buying it so no pics now. Believe it was something like a 22" top tube.

Seem's like for $100 it's worth if for the wheels alone, regardless of the other parts involved.

OK, not splatter paint, just single color. But looks totally stock (if beat up), including Suntour command shifters.

A new Ritchey is nice, but probably not as nice as that one.

That said, I've been seriously considering selling my Allez and replacing it with a Road Logic.
