Two sets of 7800 pedals in my stash. One on a track bike I swear I'll race again someday.

In the mean time it's definitely been over a year since I put on shoes with three holes.

i think that's because the elf that lives in the hub has some ESP (elf sensory perception) and can feel how hard you want to pedal, and adjusts the hub accordingly.

No the elf is drunk on thunderbird and smoked a bunch of synthetic weed.

I didn't know that I was an elf.

I've been thinking about this a lot, but no, I'm not doing that. I love riding this thing and I almost exclusively ride to something, not for the sake of it, so awkward shoes kind of ruin everything. It might get lighter pedals, though. I'm still heavily considering putting a dynamo hub on it and fenders too.

Really, actually, I'm just quoting this to get my dreamerckx on the new page.

A very early iteration of one of my usual parts bin builds, but with new paint. This bike is buttery. Even with these wheels on it. Its not raining tomorrow so will probably commute on it.. if I can find some tail lights.. somehow I already have 2 bikes at work, with the lights on them.

So you're the guy that rides to work and then somethingelses home, thus building a pile in the office. We have that guy and everyone else is always mad at him.

That's a rad bike, though.

Thanks. I am at the moment. There is a guy at work who is pretty keen and sometimes we sneak out for some hills in our lunch hour. It was just easier to have a bike there.

I was building a bike for Eroica Japan and I needed some old wheels, a buddy saw an old shitter at a school fair and snaffled it for me for 20$. It was an old Steel Olmo. Was actually Eroica ready already. It came with those bars and levers. Mavic 351s. The Olmo got converted to a beater for a daughter and the bars went straight on to this bike. As I said, all parts bin. I just polished up another crank for it today with some wet and dry and it looks mint.

Yeah, I really like them. I spent a couple of hours polishing up the old crank that was on it with some wet and dry, as per tarckeemars instruction. They are just crappy Exage, but they remind me a little of a Mavic Starfish which I love the look of. Will put on a front meh soon.

I race with Palomino American Cyclocross, but the Rev team is at most of the races. Their team seems a little lighter on participation this year, but that may be partially due to the fact that we have so many gd races this year, so they may be more spread out.

But I def love chillin with and racing against those guys.

Little bike I built up for my girlfriend. The angle of the picture makes the handlebars look weird but they look good and sit level in person.
This bike is tiny. Shes barely 5ft and I am 6'3". We actually ended up lowering the seat a little too once she actually sat on it. Took it out for a spin yesterday and she loves it. Just need to move her rack over to this bike and do some fine adjustments to the brakes, etc.

I picked up the TRP Hy/RDs. It's my first time owning anything hydraulic. I like how easy they were to set up, though I'm not sure they are optimally set up quite yet. I took Tarck's advice and immediately outfitted them with Clarks pads, so I can't compare the original pads, but they do bite well.

They stop WAY better than the long-reach caliper brakes, for sure. I was fish-tailing a lot at the last race; would have been unlikely before. I can also do a nose wheelie. So it's all a fun new experience.
