Good news is, if I had bought that bike I would have a hard time making my rent this month. Bad news is, that looks dope as shit and I wish I was riding it.

A coworker sold me this fred sled for cad$200 after upgrading to a neo gravel hydro disc thing. Tomasso is a bikes direct type brand and i wasnt expecting much but have still been having a ton of fun riding this around town. It's a full carbon frame, fork and steerer with Force shifters and derailers, and aksiums. It came with ergos equals bans but i swapped them for some parts bin omegas which are proving enjoyable. The brake and shifter housing was way way too long, still have to cut the shifter housing. I also think i want a setback seatpost and lets face it, that seatbag looks ridiculous. It came with ultegra pedals which i had to swap for xt's since i am too huge of a fred to have road shoes. All in all am pretty into my first plastic bike and first bike well under 20 lbs.

(too damn short, even with a 140mm stem, but it's okay for short rides)

Ex-GF tiny, tiny bike. For scale those are 32 mm tires, I believe. Stem is deliberately short, she's healing from a shoulder injury so she also has a longer one for when she can stretch out a bit more. 15 lbs, which I guess isn't that hard to achieve with what is basically a child-sized bike. And I think this is one of the first commercially available Shimano electronic hydro sets.

She's come a long way from shorter, albeit daily, rides to routine century+ rides.

First ride in awhile after stressing my IT band running, swapped the flats on because my knee seemed to like that better. Took SUPgirl on a fun short picnic ride with some urban trails and abandoned railroad bridge crossings.

I need to get a better sleeping pad, my current thermarest takes up like 1/4 of this front bag. But, how that for a boxy rando bag muddafuckas? I'd like to get a larger buttrocket and transfer a few lbs of weight from the front to the rear.

https://www.niagaracycle.com/categories/surly-porteur-house

It's worked flawlessly on both my Surly 24-pack rack as well as my Soma Porteur rack. Has 8 velcro attachments on the bottom, as well as having the closure straps looping through the rack.

It didn't shift, bounce, or act unstable on a hellish 12 mile rocky descent this sunday, so I'm pretty happy about it.

IM BACK! (you probably didn't know i was gone but i was! I forgot my log in info or something)

BIKES:

Single Speed HAWK Cycles (frame built by our own Bobby the Hawk)...
Shreds real good and i raced CX on it once and it excelled at that as well.

PIVOT LES. Previous MTB but i don't think i ever posted it on Tarck. In this photo it was ready to race Monster Cross in VA. It was the perfect bike for that race IMHO.

Current shred machine... 2017 Trek Top Fuel 9.8SL w/ some custom extras (paint and XXX goods swapped on)... I love the shit out of this thing and ride it every chance i get. Its fast...

Same bike in Winter mode: (i just put 2.4s on it and call it winter mode)

Mostly Cause I'm a weenie(?) and also no where to ride non weenie bikes around here really.

We did go to Snowshoe resort a couple weeks ago and I rented a 160mm non-ween bike. Had a blast shredding downhill and flow trails but can't justify buying one when the good stuff is 5 hours away.
