Nope. Just haven't got around to getting them. I wanted some brown leather, but the LBS was out when I bought the pedals.

Unfortunately it sucks for anything but emergency type stops. It's just ungodly uncomfortable to squeeze. It's been good for helping me learn to ride without it though.

Thanks. Technically it's a Spicer standard track (aka KHS Flite 100), but whatever. I finally realized that:

1. My Soma was just too small and a little noodly.
2. I just don't ride fixed enough to justify a high end frame.

I was planning to do a Paddy Wagon build, but this was half the price. I'm liking it so far.

Thanks. It is very comfy. Realistically though it's not much different than using a level stem if the headtube weren't so tiny.

I don't understand people using high rise MTB stems upside-down to emulate Keirin quill stems. It doesn't even look right.

I guess I was thinking of the other leader frame, isn't it a bunch cheaper? Maybe its just a bunch shittier too and I'm merely mistaken.

Still less than a Concept, and you don't have to go on an epic quest to find one.

I've never seen the FTP as a frameset, but for $950 complete that's a steal.

They have them in stock? You certainly have a cool Performance. Mine only carries the SE Draft.

Jamis Sonik is also pretty rad. If I had to start over with the bike stuff I'd try to get a FTP or a Sonik.

Mine weighed 14 lbs with regular clincher wheels.

The FTP really is the lightest and stiffest bike I ever rode, but the ride was so rough that it actually gave me a headache. Keep in mind that it was my race-only bike, so I can't be going into the Miss-and-Out with my head pounding.

$339 + $189 + $48 = $576

Concept is $580 normally, but can be had for $550 (bubbled clear over the "B" decal). I quested 6 blocks.

FTP Frame-set $637.95 (thebikebiz.com)

The seatpost isn't such a big deal. My 61cm Concept is flashing a huge amount as well. I was "failing" the bars. I promise that dude rides like complete shit with bars like that. I'd go so far as to say that I'd give him my bike if he could beat me up my training hill with that set-up.

And the MKS thing is tripping me out. Mine don't clear the trackends by about .75mm. Tried on two different frames.

i said the same thing to him about the bars at the "Fast Friday" thing down here in Miami.... but after watching him ride... I'm convinced that some people have the ability to maneuver their bikes in a fashion that I simply can't. he's very tall, and also he's got a narrow build, so i guess he's not uncomfortable with short bars. anyway, to each his own.

No no yeah, I usually roll with Deda's when I'm actually trying to move on the bike. The risers, stem and oury's were all given to me and I decided to put them on for fun/controversy on SSFG and here. They don't feel too terribly, but I wouldn't race anyone up any hill with them on. lol But yea, I'm keeping them on 'till I go to the 'drome again (AKA when it stops raining :( )
