I pretty fond of them so far, very stiff but kind of heavy. They are nice for the price, if you can get a deal even better.

Glad to see Dick Lane finally got someplace for people to hang their bikes. I always cringed seeing all the nice bikes laying in the grass waiting for someone to trip over them.

That Reminton may be my favourite frame ever.

But why do you have bikes that are completely identical in function and almost in appearance too?

thank you. Yeah I know what you mean. The Samson is going to have a new owner next month, its a tad too small. I hope to have its replacement (OCEAN) in a different configuration, hopefully. Maybe some drops.

Also, I lust for those Ofmega cranks. DAMMM!!!!!.

I don't fault you, especially when the resale value of an NJS bike is so high.

Is it safe to lock those up in Hawaii?

(Btw, it wouldn't be if I'm ever over there. That Reminton is my size.)

Locking up is pretty safe here. I don;t know of any fixies getting stolen here. If I do lock up, it is usually is with just my Krypto mini, Sheldon Brown style. If I anticipate a longer lock up I double lock it with a one of those light cheapo u-lock minis from Japan, front wheel to frame. its just really a deterrent. As far as all the other parts, I;ve been playing with the idea of inserting a ball bearing in the orifice (stem and seat post) where an allen wrench would go. I would super glue it in and use acetone to remove it when needed. I read it somewhere but know no one who has tried it. If any of you have please share.

Here is my Fuji Tarck. I know some members get bored of them, you can scroll down now.
My first ever bike with skinny tyres, after 12 years of bmx. To me this bike is a stepping stone to something greater, a building block to a new hobby. I haven't been this excited about a bike for a very long time.
Its basically stock, but for the deep V's and tyres that the shop put on. I also added some pedals from an old junket and some AFA clips that my LBS "had in storage" which are supposedly quite old. Waiting on some leather straps. I also put a BMX seat on it (bring on the hate) because the stock seat was unbearably painful and my broke ass just can not afford $150 odd for a decent seat. I also have not ridden it since the seat change so I realise the angle may be a little silly.

A bit blurry as I'd just finished a nice uphill.

From an angle.

This sticker came on some undies my girlfriend bought yesterday.

yeah it was pretty ridiculous. the seat post was waaaay past the minimum insertion and the bars were turned upright (bum bars).
everything on it is in pretty good condition for the most part, except slightly out of true in the rear. cant wait to clean it up.

i've been wanting a fork like that for a long time. i have no idea where to get one. bike island has one close, but the sloping crown looks a bit more rounded. it's my backup plan though.
