my fiance's at work, i flipped my rear wheel to 48/18 and threw the risers back on, rode to the store, picked up some daisies, and rode home with them sticking out of my bag.

Oh yea yesterday I rode to the bike shop to buy some shit, then I went to a local coffee shop. Ended up buying an ounce of green tea. The cashier was really tickled with himself as he measured it into a baggie and told me not to get stopped by the cops with it.

Today I rode one bike on rollers for an hour and then later I rode another bike to the thrift store to buy a suit jacket for a fancy party that I'll be riding to later tonight.
Hooray!!!

lol. I doubt it. . . But living in Seattle, one thing I noticed was that most rainy days, at least part of the day was nice. There was like a month though, when I'm pretty sure I never saw the sun.

Rode it 30 miles around here and there. The headset seems to work. Put some kool-stop salmons on it. Also installed a new brake (Campy Veloce) on kowloon's kilo. As it turns out, it works really, really well and I was able to do seated endos with it. I'm leaving it on there when he takes it back. I hope it doesn't kill him.

Rode the Giant roadbike to a new PB average speed, 16.2mph over a 30 mile ride through the local mountains and then back along the beach. Giant TCR is boring as fuck as far as bikes go, but it gets the job done. Training for next month's Solvang Century.

I rode the full rigid on some great single track out at Cap Cod, Otis AFB. Got about 2 hours in before the kid who carpooled with me ripped off a rear derailer.

Rode it a couple of hours. I debated putting on some Vittoria Rubino Pro IIs that I won yesterday but I decided I'm going to save them, my tires are still less than a hundred miles old.

Hadn't really seen Rusty's bike yet, and I really like bullhorns. Just wanted to see how it looked.

If it was worthy enough to post about doing, is it that far of a stretch to ask to see it?

Why would I post a new pic of it with bullhorns.
I already posted pics of it with bullhorns when I first built it.

for someone with sugino 75's in his avatar, i would assume you would have them on your bike. or maybe it's just a non-ds crankarm.

also, i thought those plastic clips weren't supposed to break, john prolly

the avatar is a joke since at the time i was really into putting anything rectangular into the black flag logo.

the pedals were cracked at another spot near the pedal too. these things were going to break no matter what. *barspins out of this thread*

friend wanted one right away, i didn't need it for a while. I'm not losing any money on it. Plus I always wanted a special, so that's what i'm getting. I only put about 600 miles on the other one and it was golden to my ass, so i won't mind having a new one so much.

I've been getting used to riding brake-less. For the most part I've been fine, but today I got high and did some asinine stuff. Nothing major, just kinda put a dent in a parked car.

i sanded off the pink anodizing on my risers, which i've been meaning to do since a week after i bought the damn things, rode a couple miles to the flying m, read the first fifty pages of heart of darkness, and did some wheelies in an empty parking lot on the way home.

Used my morning off to reapply grease to my pedal threads and axles, rode to a friends' to check out a mid-80s World Traveler he found at a thrift store for $12 in my size. I then rode to the shop for a sweet evening of data entry. Rode home, now chilling with cat sleeping on my lap. Good stuff.

Oh, and I don't know what I'd do if I was off the bike for two frickin' weeks... get better, Chaba!

EDIT: Rat poison is NOT good medicine...
