1/4 inch x 55 yds Copper Foil Tape - (6mm x 50m) - EMI Shielding Conductive Adhesive https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CBPK0FW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_zKDYzb4P5DEH5

I've looked at that but I think it's conductive on the outside so it would need to be covered.

It's be rad if someone did a carbon frame like a giant pcb with solder points for di2 wiring, dynamo routing, etc. Would probably need an epoxy clear coat or something though.

Carbon is conductive tho.

Biketart had traces integrated in his fancy wood bike for di2 but it didn't work worth a damn from memory. Ah, found the link: https://www.velocipedesalon.com/forum/f40/di2-integrated-wiring-failure-44713.html

There's a builder that painted the circuits on the frame and soldered the etube cable to it. Wally Works? Ionnon saw it on paceline.

This would be amazing.

But, how would flat tape handle tube junctions? Not well I think. If we're all already going to be using the frame as ground, why not just a narrower single conductor with insulation?

I finally got around to installing my hoarded 5800 group on Ash's Vaya.
It's set up 10 of 11 because I'm a dummy who lacks foresight and I built the rear wheel around a ten speed diore xt hub.

Also, Claris is actual garbage. It stopped working right after like 100 miles.

I have a claris RD on the fat chance and despite bending the shit out of it when drunk and shifting into big big last winter, it still shifts fine. Friction tho, which means it could be an absolute piece of shit to have started with, I wouldn't know.

It should be available everywhere, now. In stock at QBP, Shimano NA, etc. I suspect that it'll sell like gangbusters, nerds will horde them, and they'll be gone from North America shortly. Then, don't expect Shimano to have them again until like April or some bullshit.

musical bikes!

Bought these ridic DH bars and replaced the fleegles on the SSCXshark. A 1" threadless blue painted stem would be the icing on the cake.

Seeing as my HC rack is going to need too many mods to fit the H/G I've swapped the rsogn over to flatbars and vee brakes with the fleeges. 9sp deadender with a sunrace 9sp trigger shifter and a DT shifter for the FD.

radlawn bunny bike rides/shifts/brakes better than the zeus, so I pulled the R600 crankset, changed it to 1x with FC6600s, washed it and will see if I can find a buyer for it.

Put the R600 compacts on this to replace the FC6600s so I can have an easier time of pushing it up the hill. Perfect spring day yesterday so I took it out for a spin, skinniest tyres I own now at (Cerf 28s measure 26 on archetypes), maxing out the clearance on this frame.

Decided that I'm not going to race this again, so it's up for sale. tubs went instantly, think I'll have to part out the bike to sell the rest.

Back at the Miyata project, I installed the Sugino Mighty 900 crankset with 46-30 rings on the outer & middle. A 110mm UN55 is giving me great chainline. I would probably have clearance for a 107mm if I wanted to prioritize narrow q-factor. Also popped on an M772 dangler, as the vintage one couldn't deal with the 36t.

Replaced the RTPs with some slant sixes on the dumptruck/guntherer because it's supposed to snow tomorrow. I have a feeling I'm going to regret this, but they were free.

Discovered the seatpost was stuck on the tandem. Managed to get it unstuck with minimal effort, but I think I would have been in trouble with another few years of it like that.

I caught up with some long overdue stuff, put a front meh on the Geoffrey Butler and also on the Kite, and replaced the cabling munged in transit by AirNZ on the Peugeot. I have my eye on some Durace 9 speed DT shifters for the GB. Be silly not too, given the amount of 9 speed cassettes I have stock-piled that I am never gonna wear through anyway.

Perhaps, I've shimmed all the bars on this bike to 26.0 so far.

When I first built it I found a blue (ano) and yellow (paint) Sesamo. Perfect colour, but so flexy I had to swap it out.

cleaned and oiled the chain on my Xtracycle. It's like the sight gag from Spaceballs where the spaceship just keeps coming and coming into screen: just when you think there can't possibly be more dry links, blammo eight more feet of chain come reeling out from the luggage cavern at the back of the bike.

Polished up some Deerhead cantilever brakes and mounted them on the Miyata. Didn't feel like running cables on that one today, so I built a front wheel for my Ice Cream Truck. First fat bike wheel I've built, and it came together so quickly.
